The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.
1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is built into the charging base. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is setup it can begin automated cleaning with a single button click. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.
This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and sucks large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot promises that the next models will be better.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we found it to be marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price cost.
Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and set up virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on more expensive models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only downside is that it lacks a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's a small price to pay if you want to get one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.
For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has, which are less powerful than high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or watch TV without being distracted. If it comes into contact with the wall or a furniture piece it gently smacks into it and moves along.
The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something is in need of attention, such as the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.
You can also create or merge actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors with the first go. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.
The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
More Tips is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty when required.
Additionally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can manage it even when not home. It also has more mopping modes and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead just following a set path.
The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It has a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. But while these functions are nice to have however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury, which might make it a little more expensive than the average homeowner require.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is slim and tall, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open the settings menu in which you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to help you map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop efficiently without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with children or pets.
The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
